Season of Movement

The great season of Spring is finally here.  A long and depressingly cold winter is now behind us and we can look forward to finally getting some nice, pleasant days.  Soon the trees will be full of green, windows can stay open, and layers can be shed.

This being Maine it's going to take a while for this to actually kick in.  We should be enjoying some very good days by May.  And rain.  That's what I hate about Winter, no rain.  We've already had some days that were rainier than a cows blood in a slaughterhouse.  May we have many more.  Rainy days and slaughtered cows both I suppose.

Now if I were a dog person I would be very happy right now.  I'd be starting to take my dog for walks which has always seemed to me like a fun time.  I hate dogs, but they look like they're having so much fun that it would probably create mass happy.  It's always been at the back of my head "They look like they're having a blast" or "That would be a great excuse to take a walk". It just takes too much convincing to get me to go on a walk alone.  I'll do it, rarely, but a dog would give me all the more incentive.

So where am I at now?

I have a cat.  A big fat fatty of a cat.  He'll barely walk the five feet from where he's currently dumped his body in a heap to go slump in front of his food and eat.  He'll struggle to get there and then give me a look that seems to say "Why didn't you just bring this food to where I was?"
